What to do with my friend who i like? i dont know what to say to him?

I have this friend that i like. i think he is sort of into me but im not to sure. whenever were together he is always teasing me and playing around with me (punching me softly), laughing. When hes talking tome he will look me right in the eyes and when our eyes meet i feel something. i was going to get my friend to text him and ask him if he would ever like me but i dont know what to do? should i tell him or leave it alone for a bit.
