I'm afraid to be in a swim suit around my friend?

Thursday me and my friends are going swimming and I'm not fat I just need to tone my stomach and I'm afraid to wear a bathing suite around them. They won't make fun of me because there good people but I'm nervous and self conscious how can I tome my stomach or just learn to be more confident?
