Why can't people who believe in god accept my new religion I just came up with?

It is a thousand page long book about a amazonian woman with 3 jugs who was sacrificed because the evil lord jingle berries (head of the original religion followers of the jingle berries) thought her three jugs would hypnotize people into believing in her religion (called total recall). she then rises three months later after she is evicted from her tome for not paying rent. She now watches everyone through a giant looking glass in the sky punishing anyone who eats cheese. Isn't this just as credible as any other mainstream religion?
